Worthing Sea Front walk

For a simple seafront walk, look no further than a stroll down Worthing seafront and pier. The walk starts and finishes at Worthing rail station, served by trains from London Victoria, Portsmouth, and Brighton. If you are coming by car, the rail station has its own car park on Southcourt Road (BN14 7DF). As an alternative you could park at the sea front or the Teville Gate pay and display multi-storey car park on Railway Approach. Click ‘View Website’ for more information.

Access notes

    • The walking guide presented here is 4.5 miles in length, but as the bulk of the route is ‘there and back’ along the sea front, you can lengthen or shorten the walk to suit you.
    • The walk is almost entirely flat, with just a gentle slope or two. The paths are all surfaced and there are no gates, stiles, or steps to negotiate.
    • The road crossings are all at designated pedestrian crossing points with traffic lights. Remember that the coast can be a very blustery place in winter, so wrap up warm.
