Woods Mill

Part of Sussex Wildlife Trust, Woods Mill is a small but perfectly formed nature reserve close to Steyning and Lancing that’s well worth a look. Expect to find nightingales, warblers, turtle doves, woodpeckers, woodland plants and other wildlife just waiting to be discovered.

There is a range of family-friendly activities to choose from- you can book into tours around the reserve, discover minibeasts on a pond dipping adventure, explore its Forest School site, join the rangers on a Dawn Chorus and spend an evening with bats – or owls, whichever you prefer.
