The Jive Aces at The Chequer Mead Theatre

The UK’s top No. 1 Jive and Swing band, The Jive Aces are set to appear at The Chequer Mead theatre, East Grinstead on Friday 24th May, 2024.

Renowned for their high-energy performance, swinging music and their hallmark yellow suits, the band made it through to the semi-finals on the hit TV show. Their repertoire stretches from the timeless tunes of the swing era to the glitz of the Rat Pack with a dash of classic rock ‘n’ roll, performing songs with acrobatic vigor in their unique upbeat style.

They have worked with many celebrities such as Van Morrison, Chick Corea, Kenny Ball, John Travolta, The Proclaimers, The Undertones, Status Quo, Keely Smith, Jamie Cullum, Priscilla Presley and Kirstie Alley to name just a few – and even performed for the late Queen Elizabeth. Their upbeat version of the song “Bring Me Sunshine” has been used in countless TV shows, including twice on Strictly Come Dancing.
