Saddlescombe Farm and Newtimber walk

Breathtaking views and ancient landscapes accompany you along this scenic downland walk starting at Saddlescombe Farm, near Devil’s Dyke. On route, there’s a wildlife-rich dewpond and you can even catch a glimpse into the past when you visit the old Donkey Wheel, traditionally used to draw water for the farm. This trail starts with a short, steep ascent but then gently undulating, grassy terrain. Dogs are welcome but must be kept on leads at all time.
