COVID-19 rules in England are changing as we move onto step 4 of the government’s roadmap, and we want to #KeepWestSussexSafe for those visiting and for those who live here.
After months of keeping infection rates down, acting responsibly and being cautious is more important than ever. As we learn to live with COVID-19, it’s a good idea to continue following the hands, face, space and fresh air guidance to ensure we keep safe and protect others. West Sussex County Council recommend that we wear face coverings in crowded areas such as public transport. Although limits on social contact are lifted, consider limiting close contact with people you do not live with.
Like most areas, infection rates in Sussex have increased recently and are likely to keep rising in the coming weeks. Directors of Public Health across Sussex have issued this joint statement encouraging us all to play our part and #KeepSussexSafe.
